Making Audio Work
We are first and foremost a business development house. Your revenue challenges are our primary starting point in how we develop an approach to frame how you are represented "on-air". Remember the facts behind Voxiferi, first podcasting fifteen years ago with some of the world's leading brands and even the US and UK Government and the likes of the BBC. And now taking that knowledge and capability and packaging that up in an end to end solution to build your next stage of growth. Keeping fully aligned with the Advertising Standards Agency's expectations as we do so. Growing your revenue opportunities at speed.

Market Adaptive
We were the co-founders of Smoothwall that protects major swathes of global IT infrastucture and your children and teenagers globally as well as law enforcement and government. We also have a major track record in working in intelligence and defence alongside UK and US government consulting. So expect us to have planned ahead to assist those customers whose revenue plans and business predictions will be impacted by the war in the Middle East and the financial impact on customers and households in the UK. Our building our remote recording facilities long ahead of time, predicting fuel price increases, and the drop in strength of consumer spending
Market Aware
We are experienced business development analysts as well as podcast specialists. Our own research scope provide us live data which we combine with multiple news sources and BI feeds. We analyse the core of our customers interests but also are massively aware of Budget impacts, the weakness of the consumer pound, and the war in the Middle East. But we also need to ensure that we continue to provide marketing, via audio to your customers. Our live polling in the field shows a 18-23% drop right now in consumer spending compared to February 2026. Can you afford not to work with us ?

Watching Every Penny
Our new flagship show launched exclusively on Amazon Music and Audible is now recording Season One.
With the massive increase in the cost of living and the cost of putting fuel in our cars, mortgage interest rate rises and heating our homes, holidays are fast becoming one luxury too many for many families.
Watching Every Penny presents twenty five locations across the UK where you can escape to without breaking the bank.
Just Some Of Our Portfolio

Education Sector
We are a leader in the educational sector, which given the fact we created Smoothwall that protects massive swathes of the education market in the UK and overseas should not be a surprise. We produce and broadcast "Heads, Shoulders, Tea and Toast" every week that features academic leaders and educational specialists discussing major issues (a Spotify Exclusive). Tuned into by hundreds of schools across the UK. We also are launching, and have released the pilot for "Aspirational Education" which is a new show designed to highlight individual schools, recorded on-site and broadcast at the highest professional levels by Spotify. The first of it's kind ever in the UK. Find the link to that pilot on this page.

Nursing & Residential Care
We are a bespoke broadcaster working within specialist care environments across the United Kingdom, creating content to educate, inform and provide assurance to the public. Co-created with partners in the residential care sector. For the first time ever in the United Kingdom. Our new show "Your Next Step" is the first podcast of it's kind to talk to the families and the future residents of wholly independent non chain owned care facilities across the United Kingdom launches in April / May 2026. We are currently looking for care providers who wish to feature on the show, to train and to prepare to be in front of our microphones. Recordings commence on the 13th April 2026 and season one production finishes on the 14th July 2026.

Restaurants & Hospitality Sector
Our specialist podcast "Sounds Delicious" talks to the chefs, owners, managers, front of house, waiting staff and importantly the customers at establishments across the UK. We also have "Your Next Escape" launching just after Easter 2026 which for the first time ever, exclusively to Spotify, takes listeners into the best independent hotels in the UK. The challenges facing the hospitality sector, combined with the massive cost increases now facing both restaurants and hotels in associated utility rate increases and the boom in raw ingredient prices are only matched by the National Insurance impact on small businesses imposed by The Treasury. We are working hard to ensure our broadcasts afford the chance to build revenue opportunities for customers who work with us.

You don't ignore John Cleese
“People learn nothing when they’re asleep, and very little when they’re bored"
Learn how sage and experienced direction from John Cleese to our CEO, led directly to the formation of what would become Voxiferi Studios
One on one advice from the man who co-founded one of Britain's biggest ever media business training companies. Whose content trained millions and made such massive impact globally. And whose comedy writing and creativity has shaped and entertained generations, globally
Because to ignore the personal direct input of the man who has had such impact on so many would be a very silly thing indeed.....

HMRC Like Podcasts
This is a point we want to make with particular clarity, because it genuinely changes the economics of the decision. Podcast production for business promotion is an allowable marketing and advertising expense under HMRC rules. That means the full cost of your Voxiferi programme is deductible against your taxable profits. For a business paying corporation tax at the main 25% rate, if they had an annual plan at £200 per episode. If they booked twelve episodes over that year - giving them effective all year marketing - £2,400 total - carries an effective net cost of just £1,800 after tax relief. Tax relief figures are illustrative at 25% corporation tax (main rate). Clients paying at the 19% small profits rate will see proportionate relief. Talk to your book keeper or accountant who will help you if you need more information. The IRS in the US also allow a firm to recover this from their tax return as we reach out to the US market via US Voxiferi partners.

Voxiferi US Partners
We get a lot of interest across the US from individuals about opening up their own Voxiferi franchises. We are nervous about using the word franchise as we don't want to charge any individual to be a member of the Voxiferi family and that word is usually emotionally and financially tied to an individual or company buying into using a brand. That simply does not fit with our ethics. We are about empowerment and employment - about changing people's lives, especially those who are unemployed or redundant and who need belief to turn their lives around to support families. To that end we are thinking about US "Voxiferi" outlets with generous rates for those new US family members. Take these figures as very rough and draft - but showing our outlined thinking. If you want to be part of how we reach into the US market and you think you can help shape our journey then we want to hear from you and lets do something incredible.
Become a UK Partner
We are looking for more partners to join us in the UK. We do not charge franchise fees (the thought is abhorrent and does not mix with our ethical commercial stance). If you are able to work from home with a solid persistent stance on self improvement and growth then this might be the opportunity you are looking for. We are looking for self employed folk who want to earn a regular solid invoicable sum (paid weekly) for recording our shows (and even adding your own shows if you wished) all across the United Kingdom. You need a laptop, an internet connection, headphones and a recorder (grab a 2nd hand Olympus DM670 or a Tascam DR-05 online on Facebook Marketplace or eBay), to be mobile and able to get out to record with companies. You will be trained and supported and provided with every support to become part of the Voxsquad. To see what you could be earning a month here is a rough indicator based on an easy ramp-up. It's a business in a box - ready for the right people to embrace.
The Explosive Growth of Podcasting

Giving Schools a Voice

As a studio we research, record, produce and broadcast a series of business specific podcasts across a range of verticals and locations. Businesses appear on each show, with basic media training that we will provide if required. We want our customers, with a microphone in front of them, to talk with passion about their ambitions, offerings and services. Often their staff and customers appear on-air too
Transparent ethical revenue
We charge customers simple clear fees for their appearance slots and conform with ASA guidelines to do so. Check our online store and our downloads section for more information. We keep our costs very low to compete with, or to often thrash the alternative cost of print media advertising. We provide a much wider capability to attract new revenue for our customers than print advertising in local newspapers or circulars or other forms of advertising, the spread of podcasts being viral and non limited in geographic containment
Our Security Posture
We do not allow the use of Microsoft desktop or server products on the Voxiferi estate or network. We are a 100% Debian Linux based environment on the desktop running latest greatest updated kernels and patches at all times. Staff also use patched Chromebooks. Our servers are latest supported Rocky Linux releases with full patching via our own repos. Those racks all sit behind Imunify360 Endpoint protection firewalls and threat mitigation platforms preventing denial of service attack, malware, zero day exploits, man in the middle attacks or credential theft. We cannot be attacked by ransomware as there is no attackable surface to mount such an attack.
Voxiferi - adding value
We offer a service that is unique to many of our customers, and that is valued by our listeners. We work hard to put our customers in a new focus that they've never enjoyed before. And we are passionate about new business development and revenue creation. As card carrying journalists the last two decades, we bring a set of core strengths that are very hard to find in other potential partners

Ofcom - The Future of UK Listening Audio
Ofcom, the broadcast regulator, have taken a critical supportive stance on why podcasts are taking over, and how podcasts have grown in consumption.

We Want You !
Want to shape our future ?
The United Kingdom is facing challenges in the employment arena that are unprecedented since the mid 1980s. Many companies impacted by UK Goverment budget changes to NI and taxation reacting with layoffs, and now the associated impact of the Iran War
We want to hear from people who need and want to reinvent and where remote work with support and flexibility is a key part of their needs of an employer. We are committed to changing people's lives, especially those stuck in a cycle of rejections and especially those in middle age where ageism is so often seen as a barrier to rebooting careers
We really are only as good as the people we haven't yet brought on board to steer where we want to go. Could that be you ? You won't know till you talk to us
WE DO NOT DEAL WITH RECRUITERS OR AGENCIES

Clearpay Is Here !!
We are now partnering with Clearpay to offer an alternative method of paying for Voxiferi retail shows (does not apply to sale items). We pay your interest charges (we absorb a 7% charge) making this an entirely interest free option in four easy payments to Clearpay
This means customers are able to get the show they really want rather than the slot they can maybe only afford this month. Then pay down via Clearpay to free up operational cashflow

Heads, Shoulders, Tea and Toast
We soft launched Aspirational Education in the autumn as an experiment to see what it would do in the life of a school.
But on the back of that we have just launched a partner podcast "Heads, Shoulders, Tea and Toast" talking to the Heads and Leads at Academies, Schools and Colleges across the country. Their stories, over tea and toast. In your ears, without crumbs, available on demand on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, Audible and wherever you get your podcast right now !

Why do we do this?
We are the only UK podcasting company that has recorded in nineteen countries globally, from The White House in Washington DC to BBC Broadcasting House in London. From live in Time Square NYC to the frozen snow and ice of the Arctic Circle. From San Francisco to Portland, from Amsterdam to Barcelona and all points in between. We now take everything that we've learnt, carrying our mobile studios around the world, into businesses across the UK to train, record and broadcast with companies who want to embrace change and grow their revenue, using podcasting as a method of communication.
We have appeared online in articles, on radio shows in the UK and the US, since 2019 talking about what we recognise as data science - using analytics to evolve business models. Rather than using post mortem analytics such as Google SEO or Salesforce to understand what happened. The fact that we (not you) created and sold a startup for $100m cash already, (we've sold two more since, the last one on the London Stock Exchange in 2017) so we understand how being different creates tactical market advantage. And we've done all this (including creating Voxiferi) without investment, without VC and only using revenue to grow.
We don't know who all our customers are, or we would all be planning our retirement next week. We don't know where our customers are, or we'd go and knock on all of their doors in person and introduce our businesses.
What we do know is that we can't afford not to engage, and podcasting with Voxiferi gives you tactical and commercial advantage over print advertising, over advertorial and over traditional FM radio ad marketing. Always-on, an audio insight for the listener, and a massively valuable aid for the business owner to drive new revenue.
Read our info pack and check our download section for more commercial resources we have created for you to help you understand just why you can't afford not to be part of our journey.
Why we make an impact
We realised, more than a decade ago, that delivering fresh professional audio to listening audience would set us apart, and afford us the freedom to craft message and to deliver professional output. Podcasting as an alternative to print advertising in local and national media is direct, it's available on demand 24/7 and stretches way beyond the boundaries of a quarter page print advertisement that is pulped and recycled within days. Targeted and syndicated content produced professionally and shared via social media affords our customers to walk their businesses virtually into the lives of listeners. Their people, their products, their services, delivered to new customers who have never been exposed to their brand.
But it's not just as simple as pressing record and talking into a microphone. The successful show or segment is polished and has an editorial direction, it thinks about your business today, but it also thinks about your evolution and your ambition, because the heart of an audio bubble that is first broadcast to a new listener is your engagement and your tenacity and character and that of your staff, captured during our recording session.
You are no different to the major brands we have already worked with, the Cisco's, the Symantec's, IBM, Red Hat's or the High Street mens outfitters or the bakeries or pizzerias from Kent to Bristol, from London to Sunderland. What you all benefit from is working with a partner in Voxiferi who use editorial experience married to an ability to read and to react to actual listener data from our servers.
We want you to grow commercially in an ever more challenging marketplace where cashflow is King. We want to be part of your ongoing journey and come back and record with you again and to keep telling your story to listeners who are the new customers you've not yet met.
Read our guide to getting you on air, it's been created to help you take the next steps to better commercial engagement, and to really generate bottom line revenue that you can harness to grow.
Your business, on-air
We have created a host of full colour, easy to engage with practical guides in our download section. These help you understand how to get you, your staff, your products and your offerings onto a Voxiferi created show.
We want to make you think. Because this isn't a static print advert, or a campaign with a single offering or keyword, it's a living breathing, always-on, dynamic snapshot of your business, broadcast globally by the likes of Spotify, Amazon Music or Apple Podcasts. This is about as far outside your comfort zone as it gets.
It's not an eleven second radio advert on FM terrestrial radio, it's a polished outside broadcast recorded show with traditional values based on our global practiced experience as Britain's most well travelled podcast studio.
In the first instance go to our download section, read or print our guides. They are there to help and prepare you and to put you at ease.
If you want a one pager that will help you understand what we know (from data engagement and listener figures) as to what makes a successful show, then grab this infosheet.
Why do we keep the cost low?
We are extremely ethical about our pricing in the current challenged market.
Let us explain why
We have a range of commercial podcasts across industry verticals and segments ranging from restaurants and fine dining establishments, to hotels, farm shops, residential homes for the elderly, we have a podcast that travels the UK talking to all types of businesses in market towns, a UK first. We also have shows that concentrate on the needs of coastal Britain to increase and drive revenue in a market that has always been impacted by seasonal downturn.
We built our first business, Smoothwall (later acquired for £75.5m in cash - $100m) on the premise that if we priced our offering dramatically less than our competition we would gain advantage. We realised there were MANY MORE customers with £200 in their budget back in 2000/2001 than had the ability to raise a purchase order for £1000. We didn't have to wait three weeks for a sales order for £1000, we could collect sixty orders for £200 in the time it took us to chase a prospective order for £1000 and to own a costly sales pipeline and a cost of sales that would mean we were actually a traditional business chasing our tails.
We proved that by charging less we could attract more, ignoring those who rudely suggested that if we were only £200 we couldn't possibly be as good as our £1000 competitor. It's about ethics.
What they forgot was that once we got the customer sale the cost or the revenue was immaterial, they were our customer. It wasn't about the difference between £200 and £1000 it was the fact we executed better, and we grew faster. And doing so we became the market leader and the brand of choice.
Nobody talks about the companies who were charging the £1000 for their product back in 2000/1. Nobody can remember them, they were just noise. But they still talk about what we did.
And we believe fundamentally in ethics. Read about why it makes us a better business partner, and a better employer.
Would you prefer an ethical partner or to pay a high margin ?
The Voxiferi model
We do not have investors or VC backing, nor do we want to attract such attention. We are founded on fast revenue, and we don't allow debt or credit to derail growth.
We keep our costs right down by being a cash with order company, and let us take an opportunity to explain why.
1) it's 2025, the true cost of doing business has never been impacted more than by red tape, utility costs and the lack of awareness of the impact on growth of UK central government policy and the budgets of Rachel Reeves.
2) When we built Voxiferi the core principles were to be able to get fast revenue, fast engagement with customers and to use our portal and our store, and our automation to be able to book and process revenue.
3) To do that we almost needed a "pick and mix" attitude to sales and to peg pricing BELOW that of traditional print media but only able to do that were customers paid immediately rather than on thirty day or sixty day credit terms.
4) By having a automated platform that we've built to process orders and payment with a low cost of sales, we could keep our costs down and also reduce our accounts costs internally. All of which keeps our prices down.
5) We knew we could charge £700-1000 per show and make a good living, but we knew charging £299-499 for the majority of our show slots we could sell a factor more, even if it meant massively reduced margins to do so.
6) By being a payment with order platform, either via the simplicity of the store, securely via card or digital wallet such as Apple or Google Pay, we are not generating and chasing invoices. Nor will we offer credit terms to any customers - of any size. Or we would be selling our slots for three times the advertised price.
7) We wouldn't go into a farmers market, and attempt to negotiate sixty day payment terms on a basket of freshly grown farm produce, we are producing fresh product to get to market and we are pricing it ethically and at an attainable price to generate more customers being able to get-on-air.
8) And we prepare you - read more here
